I am so excited for all of the thinking we will do together this year! In our classroom we will be problem solvers. Students will work in groups of 3 a lot of the time. These groups will be random. Students will not be sitting all of class. I will be having them standing and working collaboratively at a vertical whiteboard. Teachers may not answer your question or let you know if you answer is correct but will respond with another question, know that this is done for a reason. We are encouraging you to keep thinking! I encourage you to Check Your Understanding nightly. You have Khan/Delta Math assignments weekly that must be completed. You should be evaluating your understanding of concepts, as well as the teacher. I am not focused on the grading but the progress of your learning. You should be regularly checking Alma to see your progress. If this information has created questions for you please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
