Please help remind your child to CHARGE his/her chromebook daily. Thank you.

Once chromebooks start going home, please remember to have your child bring his/her charged chrome book to and from school daily.  There will also be a charger coming home for you to keep at home.  Username and password login information will be emailed to your child's gmail. Very soon, you will also find a printed login information sheet as well as the "Clever Card" in your child's red home folder.  Please keep the "Clever Card" at home and please keep the printed log in sheet in your child's red home folder.  Thank you for your help with this. 

Please remember when your child has completed his/her 30 minutes of reading for homework (when assigned) to please make sure to sign the assignment sheet so credit can be given for the reading homework assignment.  Thank you for your help with this.  Also the 30 minutes of reading, can be done independently or reading with an adult. 

Please remember to fill out the activity log after completing the Scholastic News Magazine, and/or Book Flix assignments when they are assigned for homework.  The activity log is sent to your child's Google Mail.  Please don't forget to click "submit" on the activity logs. These homework assignments will be assigned at various times throughout the school year. Thank you.

In the months ahead as winter gets closer, there will be a yellow folder that will be coming home with your child. This yellow folder is your child's "At Home Learning" folder. This folder will be needed in the event that we have an inclement weather day where students are working from home.  Administration will issue out a Onecall phone call to parents to inform you of this situation.  Please put this folder in a safe location at home for when it is needed. During these "At Home Learning" days your child will also need to access work and attend teacher directed class meetings/activities through a Google Slide presentation that can be found on your child's Google Drive on his/her chromebook. Please see specific instructions as outlined in the folder for our "At Home Learning Days" when the Onecall phone call is made. NO work will need to be done for days that are called as TRADITIONAL SNOW DAYS. Thank you. 

With our cooler mornings as fall approaches, please make sure your child has a sweatshirt or light jacket for our morning recess times. When the cold weather and snow arrives for the winter months, please make sure your child has a jacket, hat, gloves or mittens. In order for you child to play in the snow, boots and snowpants must be worn. This important winter attire is needed at our recess times. Thank you for your help with this.
