Meet Your Library Media Specialist
Hello! My name is Mrs. Heather Bridges, and I am the Library Media Specialist / Technology Teacher at AES and ARD. I have been teaching for 15 years. I have a Master's of Science in Library and Information Sciences from Simmons College and a Master's of Science in School Leadership from Granite State College, as well as a Bachelor of General Studies in Music, Theatre and English from Salem State College. I am the mother of two amazing boys. I also have a second job as a Choir Director. I am very excited to be here for my second year in Allenstown to work with all of the wonderful students and staff!
My favorite children's authors are J.K. Rowling, Lois Lowry, Jonathan London, Patricia Polacco, and Laura Ingalls Wilder.
My favorite authors of literature are Herman Wouk, Charlotte Bronte, Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, and Maya Angelou.
When I'm not at school, I love to sing and act. Musical theatre is a favorite hobby of mine! Of course, I also love to hang out with my boys!
