A little bit about myself...

Hello everyone! My name is Karina Grant and I am so grateful to have, what I believe to be, the best job in the world. I have worked with all age levels throughout my career, but working with high school students is by far my favorite.

Some of my hobbies and interests include: Spending time with my husband, kids, and 110 lb. puppy. I also enjoy traveling, decorating my house and singing.

Fun Facts about me: Summer is my favorite season. Target is my favorite store. I lived in Paraguay for 6 years, where I became fluent in Spanish. I speak 3 languages.

My Teaching Statement

My teaching philosophy is short and simple. I believe that EVERYONE, in their own unique way, CAN achieve all of their learning goals. If you are willing to experience something new, make mistakes, learn from your mistakes, and push yourself then you can accomplish, grow, and be successful. It is my desire to instill in my students a growth mindset and the belief that they can do anything they set their minds to.
