Times: Tues, Weds, Thurs; 9am-noon*
*Note: Some Enrichment opportunities have additional/alternate meeting dates & times.
Clipper Academy offers THREE options for learning:
CREDIT RECOVERY: This option is for students who have failed a graduation requirement and need to recover credit.
ENRICHMENT: This option is for students who would like to take courses over the summer that are not credit-bearing. These courses help students build connections within the PHS community and dive deeper into an area of interest. These experiences are for current 8th graders through current 11th graders.
VLACS (Virtual Learning): This option is facilitated by the Clipper Academy Coordinator as students are onboarded through the Virtual Learning Academy Charter School. Once a student is registered for the course, this is an independent experience.

No Cost
A certified summer teacher will work with students during assigned sessions to navigate the course in which they are enrolled. The assigned teacher will assess each student's strengths and establish learning goals together.
Students can enroll in one credit recovery option.

VLACS (Virtual Learning Academy) is a free option to our students at PHS. These courses allow students a chance to achieve unique goals and advance credits in the summer. The Clipper Academy Coordinator will support the on-boarding process. Once a student is enrolled in the VLACS course, the work is independently monitored with support from the VLACS instructor only.
