Ms. Murphy
Hello Friends! I am so excited to begin this new school year with all of you! There are so many new and exciting things that will be happening in Second Grade!
I have been teaching for a long time...everything within grades K - 3; I even owned my own daycare when my daughter was little (just prior to coming to RES). I LOVE projects and hands on learning that allows the children to wonder, get "dirty", and then discover on their own.
I have one daughter, Gracie, who is a sophomore at Dover High School. She loves art and often does our bulletin boards. :) We love to go on adventures of all kinds. Family is super important to me.
When not at school, I can be found digging in my garden, quilting in my sewing room, or whipping up new recipes in my kitchen. Creativity is at my core.
We have two cats (Sophia and Miley), two chickens, and lots of fish.
I am so looking forward to working with you and your children as we grow together and BLOOM this year!

Welcome to the new school year at RES! We have many exciting things planned this year. I am looking forward to getting to know the families and wonderful group of second graders!
While I have also taught children in grades 3-5 in my educational career, I love teaching second grade! In addition to my love for teaching children, I enjoy running, riding horses, and watching my children play sports.
I have three children - Braeden (13), Addy (10), and Mason (9). They attend school in SAU 16. They love staying active and are involved in sports such as hockey, soccer, baseball, and golf. We have a dog (Chauncey), two bunnies (Rocky & Sandy), and a bearded dragon (Cash...named after Johnny Cash!).
I love living on the NH Seacoast! It is a great place to raise a family and enjoy the outdoors.
Can't wait to build a strong community together with all of you!

Hi Second Graders and Families! I am looking forward to this school year and learning more about you!
I love teaching all subjects, but I especially enjoy math! In my spare time, I like to hike, run, ride my Peloton bike, and do yoga. This helps me stay energized and focused. 😌
I have two children - Charlie and Isabelle. They are both graduated from college now, but went to school here at RES. I also have a dog (Ellie) and a cat (Jerry).
I love elephants and have been involved with The Sheldrick Wildlife Fund and Elephant Havens (both baby elephant orphanages) in Africa. Next summer, my daughter Isabelle and I are going to Botswana to go on safaris and visit Elephant Havens! I'm sure I will be talking a lot about it this year as I am beyond excited to go and live my dream of being with elephants and other African animals!
I'm sure we'll be sharing many stories about our friends, families, pets and adventures throughout the school year. I can't wait!
