Welcome to the Fifth Grade!
5th
Grade!
We hope that you are enjoying your summer break! We are in the process of getting ready for a new year and are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Fleming as the 5th grade science teacher. We hope that you are excited about joining the middle school community!
Our team will be busy planning for next year and enjoying all that summer offers! We are all enjoying our gardens, walking, reading and spending time with our families. We look forward to hearing about your summer vacation when classes resume!
For the coming year, in language arts, you will read many new books, write stories and essays and experience digital literacy as well. In math, you will strengthen your problem solving and fluency skills, and you will be given the opportunity to connect the how to the why it works. In science, you will use your observations to better understand the world around you and recognize the impact human beings have had on our planet.
