Kindergarten

This month we are doing an study of book series.  We are looking at The Food Group series by the team of Jory John (author) and Pete Oswald (illustrator).  We are finding a common theme between the books and identifying how the characters grow and change as the stories progress.

1st Grade

This month we are working on iPad expectations.  We are learning a new coding activity and reviewing Beebot skills.  We are also learning about the process of making ice cream and comparing fiction and nonfiction texts about the topic.

2nd Grade

This month we are learning the basics of stop motion animation.  We are using iPads to complete the 2 Lego brick challenge, and then creating our own stop motion videos.

3rd Grade

This month we are reviewing Ozobot skills and integrating them with mapping skills  We are reading about 7 kids from around the world and what an average day looks like for them.  We are then creating a path on a world map for Ozobot to visit multiple different continents.
