Dear Grade Two Families,

We miss you all very much and are anxiously awaiting the time when we can all be together again. Until then, this link will be your source for remote learning. You can always email your child's teacher with questions, but assignments, links, and resources will be available through your child's google classroom (see page at top). We're looking forward to working as a team as we navigate this uncharted territory.

Please see below a message about creating your own "Blue Jay Learning Nest." This will help us have a specific space to be focused and to establish routine. We encourage you to find a space in your home to do the same.

Below is a sample schedule that may work for your family. We understand that families will work out a schedule that meets their needs, and this is simply a guideline to get you started.

Dear Friends,

Take some time this week to think about a good spot in your home to do your best reading, writing, and thinking. We would love all our RMMS Second Grade Bluejays to create their own “Learning Nest.” Next to this text is an example. It can be a cozy corner in your room, a spot on the couch, or a seat at a desk or table. Think about things you can put up around your nest, for example drawings, photos, or inspirational phrases.
