Hi,

Welcome to 8th grade English!

This year, we will be reading a wide variety of texts including poems, short stories, plays, and novels. We will also be doing a wide variety of writing. While that may sound pretty boring, I promise that I will try my best to make sure you have a lot of fun this year. Reading and writing are paths to adventure, and this year will be your final year of adventure in middle school. You will be ready for high school and your next adventure by the end of this school year.

The English lesson plans and our assignments are posted on Google Classroom. The code for our classroom will be shared with you in class.
