Help protect yourself from getting and spreading respiratory viruses, like rhinoviruses, flu or covid-19 by following these steps:
o Wash your hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
o Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
o Avoid close contact such as kissing, hugging, and sharing cups or eating utensils with people who are sick, and when you are sick.
o Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your upper shirt sleeve, not your hands.
o Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces, such as toys and doorknobs, especially if someone is sick.
o Stay home when you are sick.
• Consider wearing a mask around other people if you have respiratory symptoms.
Meet your School Nurse Mrs. Sanborn
Hello! I am so pleased to be the Registered Nurse for HUES! This is my 9th school year here and I have been enjoying my role as the "health officer" as well as the children and staff at HUES tremendously! I come from a varied background in healthcare including Respiratory Care, Emergent, ICU and NICU care along with Home Care, IV infusion therapy as well as mentoring/teaching. My husband and I live in the community and have three college aged boys that have gone through the SAU41 schools. My last one started college this year!
