We will be using Eureka Math Squared as our math curriculum this year. 3rd graders will:
multiply and divide within 100 using different strategies
recognize fractions as numbers, built from unit fractions, and use visual fraction models to describe parts of a whole
develop an understanding of area concepts and relate area to addition and multiplication
reason about shapes and their attributes and recognize perimeter and area as attributes of plane figures
use place value understanding and properties of operations to perform multi-digit arithmetic
We will be using Amplify Core Knowledge Language Arts® . Lessons include Reading, Writing, Grammar, Morphology, and Spelling activities.
