How will I know if my student's photo has been received?
Upon submitting the form linked above, you will receive a message that reads "Your senior's photo has been received. If further information is needed, a member of the yearbook staff will reach out".
If you are having a photographer submit a photo on your student's behalf and they email the photo to the school, it is REQUIRED that you follow-up with Jordan Cormier by sending an email to jordan.cormier@sau41.org to ensure the photo has been properly processed. Failure to do so is at your own risk!
What if I need to change the photo I have submitted?
If you realize your mistake before you have exited out of the form screen, you can click the button titled "edit response" and resubmit. If you have already exited out of the screen, submit a new form and email Jordan Cormier at jordan.cormier@sau41.org with your perferred photo so the yearbook staff can ensure they are deleting the correct photo from our folder.
Do pets count as props?
Yes! The reason we are so strict with this policy is because the focus of the photo should be on your wonderful senior! Not the cute distracting dog, or cat, or turtle...
If you would REALLY like a photo of your student's pet included in the pages of the yearbook, senior ads are available for purchase! There, you can place as many photos of your senior and their pet as you'd like! :)
What about baby photos?
The yearbook staff does not handle baby photos. If you would like your student's baby photo included, you can do so by purchasing a senior ad.

What if I miss the deadline?
Reach out to the yearbook staff at jordan.cormier@sau41.org Please be prepared to hear that it may be too late to have your student's chosen photo included in the yearbook if those pages have already been sent to print at our publisher's plant. However, we may be able to request some stickers of your senior's photo which our publisher can mail to you. These can then be applied to your student's and their friend's yearbooks.
What if I don't submit a senior photo at all? Will my child be listed as "not pictured"?
As long as they still sit for the photos the school takes at the beginning of the year, then NO! We will run with the photo the school has provided. If your child does not sit for a school photo either on the original picture day or on retake day, then we will have nothing available to print for them and would then be listed as "not pictured".
My quote is just a saying that is really popular, but there isn't one person who it is credited to. Can I still use it?
Probably, just make sure it still follows all the other guidelines set out for quotes and attribute it to "Anonymous".
How will I know if my quote has been rejected by administration or the vetting committee?
You will receive an email informing you and you will be given an opportunity to revise your quote.
What if I want to change my quote?
The best way to handle this is to come to Mrs. Cormier's room in 224 and ask her directly about it so she can change it in the Google Sheet where all this info is stored. Please be respectful of her teaching time and try to check in about this during a CavBlock when it is unlikely you will be interrupting a class!
How do I know if my order went through?
You can search your students order using this link.
Additionally, When Jostens receives your order they will send a web order receipt to the email address that you provided with your order. Your order is placed with Jostens when a receipt appears on your screen. Your detailed receipt includes the number of items purchased, sales tax and total order price.
Print your receipt screen for future reference. If the receipt does not appear, follow the instructions that appear on the screen or email us.
I have an order confirmation, but the school has no record of my students' book being purchased
When this happens 99.9% of the time it is for a senior whose parents ordered a senior ad (that is the order confirmation they are seeing) but forgot to purchase the actual yearbook.
If I forgot to purchase a yearbook and online sales are closed, is there anything I can do?
Keep an eye on the updates from the school as we sometimes have extra yearbooks available for purchase on the day we distribute the yearbooks to all the students. If this is the case they are sold first-come-first-serve and the cost will be $130. They can be bought using either cash or a check made out to HBHS Yearbook. If it is after the distribution event, your student can see me in 224 to inquire about any possible remaining yearbooks for purchase.
There's a mistake in my student's yearbook. Any options?
While the yearbook staff strives to produce an error-free product, it is a staff made of students and therefore mistakes do happen sometimes! If you notice a mistake (for example, your students' name is misspelled, their senior photo was not used, or a senior quote is innacurate) please reach out to the yearbook advisor, Jordan Cormier at jordan.cormier@sau41.org as soon as you are able. Usually, stickers with the correction can be purcahsed from our publisher to be placed in your student's and a handful of their friend's yearbooks.
If there is a printing error (for instance, a page was folded over weird when it went through the printer) and your student has not yet written in the book, we can often swap the book on the spot for them. If it is in a personalized book that the error occurred, please reach out to the yearbook advisor, Jordan Cormier at jordan.cormier@sau41.org as soon as you are able.
How is the price determined?
The prices are set by our publisher, Jostens. They include the cost of printing, binding, and shipping the yearbooks.
Do I need a coupon code to get the deals listed above?
No, the sale prices will automatically be applied as long as you order by the deadlines laid out above.
If I forget to order before the sale price ends, can I still get the deal?
Unfortuantely, that isn't up to the school. You can reach out to Jostens' customer support here.
I can't afford a yearbook, but would love for my student to have one. Are there any options available?
Yes! Jostens has a payment plan available so you can break down the cost of the yearbook into 3 payments if that fits better into your family's financial plans.
