This document establishes the National Honor Society chapter at Hollis Brookline High School. It goes through, in great detail, the powers, purpose, and requirements of the organization. It also sets accountability procedures regarding the behavior of members of the organization.
This is a copy of the sheet that you must turn in by the end of each quarter. These sheets detail your in-school, out-of-school, and chapter project hours. Hours not reported on these sheets will not be counted towards your required number of hours. These are submitted in Google Classroom on a quarterly basis.
The dues to belong to the National Honor Society for one year is $20. These are due before you are inducted as a new member of NHS and can be dropped off directly to Mrs. Moyer in the school counseling office. If paying by check, please make the check payable to HBHS.
This document is required to be signed by all members of the National Honor Society. It acknowledges an understanding of the expectations placed on members of the organization and a commitment to abide by them. New members should print themselves a copy and sign the agreement upon acceptance to the NHS.

This is a required form for all new members of the National Honor Society. It requires that references be collected from TWO members of the community. These can be coaches, mentors, etc. We ask that this not be a parent, family member or teacher. It allows the selection committee to develop a more well rounded picture of the student.
