📓School policy states that students in first grade should be assigned homework one to two nights per week. Homework assignments should take students ten to twenty minutes to complete.
✏️Our classroom homework will reflect lessons from our Eureka Math and CKLA programs. Periodically you will see math workbooks, caregiver letters, spelling lists, and take home pages that come home in your child's folder. These different activities reinforce and support concepts learned in school. Some homework assignments require a family member’s participation, and all homework should be reviewed by an adult. Homework will be sent home as we finish lessons and topics. Homework is meant as a CHOICE, enabling you to select activities that work into your home schedules, and still support what we are doing in the class. All activities do not need to be completed. Pick and choose what works for your family!
