Meet the Teacher

Hey everyone! My name is Ms. Wallace and I will be your 4/5 grade teacher. I am so excited to get to know you this year. I am on a mission to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable, loved and successful no matter what the next few years throws at us. I live in Raymond just like you. My son, Nathan just started his first year and lives at UNH.

I have become known as the Harry Potter teacher! It all started from my love of the books as my son and I began reading them together, and then it blossomed as my students shared the love of this theme as well. The reason I use the Harry Potter theme is that there are many wonderful lessons that can be learned from this series. We will learn to work together in groups to try to win the "House Cup," as well as learn how to work hard doing classroom jobs as "House Elves." If you have never read a Harry potter book, you can use the link on the bookshelf in our virtual classroom to access the free audiobooks anytime you like! We will also watch the first movie together to get a better understanding of how things will work.

I have included a few articles below to give you an understanding of what we will be learning. I have high expectations not only academically, but socially as well. We will set goals, and we will work to help you reach them. Prepare for an exciting adventure together, I know I can't wait!
