March 10th - No School - Professional Development Day for teachers
March 12th - End of Trimester 2
March 19th - No Morning Class- Parent Teacher Conferences
This is where I will post the calendars for the month. I usually plan learning themes that run for one week or stretch to two weeks. A lot of the learning themes are planned with the student's interest in mind, this is called Emergent Curriculum. Once in while there will be something I ask that you bring in from home or email me. For example, when we learn about shapes, I might ask you to find shapes in your home with your child and send me a picture of them. Another example is during fall, I might ask your child to bring in some fall leaves for us to use in our classroom.
