Sketchbook Covers
Students learned about color families and color relationships and explored pattern work to create their sketchbook covers.
Faux Stained Glass
Students applied what they learned about color relationships and value as they created their own faux stained glass. Looking at the work of Louis Tiffany and more contemporary stained glass artists, students focused on the theme of nature.
Abstract Art
Using line, shape, color and texture, students conveyed ideas or emotions in their abstract art.
Inspired Communities
Students studied the work of artist, architect, and environmentalist Freidensreich Hundertwasser. They then created a city, or town, or village, designed by them, inspired by Hundertwasser.
