What does enrichment mean?

The Weare District Enrichment Program provides students with a wide variety of activities across the various academic disciplines and embedded in all tiers of instruction.

• Tier I – Regular classroom instruction that engages and motivates students by providing and enriching activities integrated with arts and/or technology.
• Tier II – Small group instruction that engages students in higher order thinking skills of problem solving and critical thinking while addressing individual interests and specific core content material.
• Tier III – Guided instruction in focused areas of study that are individually designed and independently researched by the student. These activities promote the development of advanced communication skills in the areas of writing, speaking, and presenting.
