Welcome to Health Class. Everyone deserves to live a happy and healthy life.
Health class at Seabrook Middle School focuses on providing students with the tools, skills and knowledge they need to make healthy choices, recognize and respond to health concerns, promote wellness, and access support. Lessons are based on the New Hampshire Health Education Curriculum Guidelines, the National Health Education Standards and the National Sexuality Education Standards. Students learn about physical, social, emotional, and mental health and how to be healthy in each area of wellness. Students learn about the importance of a balanced and healthy lifestyle throughout the various stages of life. Skills are the focus in health class and we learn skills using a variety of approved health topics. Content may change if there are schedule adjustments or if additional learning time is required on a specific topic.
