Communiques to the

Nike Farm Team

Jeff Johnson coached the "NIKE Farm Team" from October 1994 through the 2000 Olympic T&F Trials (July). Vin Lannana coached it in 2001. Frank Gagliano arrived in 2002 and coached it for 1-2 years, after which he followed Lannana to Oregon and renamed the club the “Oregon TC Elite” (now coached by Mark Rowland). As the “NIKE Farm Team’, it was always located at Stanford University (Jeff's alma mater).

Pictured is Sean O’Brien (Winnisquam HS '99) when he was coached by Gags. Sean (a graduate of American University where he was coached by Matt Centrowitz, Sr.) was the first New Hampshire resident to run a sub-4 minute mile (1/14/2006). Russell Brown (a graduate of Hanover HS '03 and Stanford U) would be NH's second sub-4 minute miler a few weeks later.
