2024 coaches clinic
Chris Lear is an accomplished athlete and a renowned author. He was New Jersey state mile champion and 4:09 high school miler in 1992. He went on to Princeton where he was a two-time cross country captain and earned All-Ivy, All-East and All-American honors. Post-college Chris was a member of the Nike Farm Team under the guidance of Jeff Johnson. He went on to author the cult classic Running with the Buffaloes and Sub 4:00: Alan Webb and the Quest for the Fastest Mile. His next book, written in collaboration with Sean Brosnan and Andrew Greif, is Redefining Fast: How Newbury Park Became the Greatest High School Team in History. Chris and One Athletics have generously agreed to donate $5 to the NHTFCA for each book purchased. See below for details. The book will be here for the holidays.
