Week 1: June 24th- June 27th 

Sports 1- Football- All Levels

Half Day  $100

Coached by former Sanborn Football Alumni, the main objective of a football camp is to improve the football skills of the participants while enjoying a fun and healthy experience. Students will be broken up into age appropriate groups and work with multiple coaches to improve abilities! Please come in appropriate gym attire and sneakers. 



Mad Science!

Half Day  $100

This is a camp for all things science!  Kids will be immersed in multiple science disciplines including physics, biology and environmental studies.  The focus will be lots of hands-on activities and experiments to keep learning fun! 


International Cooking

Half Day $110

11:30 am-2:00 pm| Incoming Grades 3-5 ONLY

Campers will be immersed in different cultures and preparing food from around the world!  Focus will also be on kitchen safety, appropriate clean up techniques, measuring and safe handling of all foods!  


Art Camp 1: Ceramics

Half Day  $100

Students will explore hands-on building processes with structural integrity and artistic intention. Students will demonstrate hand-building techniques, how to manage studio time with the clay process and problem solve in a tactile way.   With the short time we have, We will manipulate low fire clay the first day, with drying time in between and single fire glazed by the last day of this session. We will paint bisque-fired plates/bowls/cups with glaze. We will sculpt with plastic or polymer clay, talk about stop motion film, build 3D scenes and/or jewelry. Students will have learned how to build in multiple ways and have a beginners understanding of the science behind it.

Week 2:  July 8th-July 11th 

Sports 2: Martial Arts 

Half Day  $100

This will be taught by former 2nd degree blackbelt martial arts instructor, author and internal medicine specialist, Dr. Wayne Trebbin!  There will be no sparing so as to markedly reduce any chance of injury. There will also be age appropriate stretching and strengthening exercises. Safety will be of paramount importance. The spirit of karate (honor, integrity, sportsmanship and dedication) will be emphasized.   Students will be broken up into age appropriate groups and work with multiple coaches to improve abilities! Please come in appropriate gym attire and sneakers. 


Cheer 1: Advanced

Half Day  $100

This is a camp for experienced cheer students only.  (Please see Week 3 for the beginner/intermediate level).  We are lucky enough to have Alyssa Rehrauer teaching this camp this year!  She is the High School's amazing cheer coach! Campers should be comfortable with jumps and tumbling as well as have past experience with cheer.  Students will be broken up into age appropriate groups and work with multiple coaches to improve abilities! Please come in appropriate gym attire and sneakers. 




Drama 1 "Alice in Wonderland"

Full Day $200

8:00 am-2:00 pm| Incoming Grades 3-8

Our famous duo of Carol Misenheimer and Nicole Woulfe are back this year with a new play!! Summer Drama Camp offers the opportunity to participate in a fun, familiar favorite with colorful roles for all!   Young actors will spend their camp days learning new acting skills as they rehearse a short play, preparing for a performance for families and friends on the last day of camp.  In addition, there will be a variety of other activities, including trivia contests, name- that-tune and so many more.  What could be more fun than the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, Alice herself, the loud and scary Queen of Hearts plus so many more!



Art 2: Beginner Photography

Half Day  $100

Learn how to make pictures, not just take them! With just a camera and a computer you can explore. Learn the art of capturing faces, places and moments in time with a SNAP and share the joy with your friends and family! We can also explore Photoshop to learn some photography tricks.  We will als experiment with early photography techniques. What was photography like before digital photography came along?



Art 2: Mixed Media and Fiber Arts

Half Day  $100

11:30 am-2:00 pm| Incoming Grades 3-5 ONLY

Mixed Media is used to describe artworks composed of a combination of different materials and this could be a wide range of items from pencils to paint to fabrics.  In this camp the students will explore mixed media. They will do fun and engaging art projects that will explore combining things like drawing, painting, sewing, weaving, collage work, printmaking and more!

Week 3:  July 15th-July 18th 

Sports 3: Tennis and Floor Hockey

Taught by a former Sanborn sports Alumni, this camp will offer the opportunity for students to learn and play 2 different sports, outside on the court and inside the building in an air conditioned gym!  Focus will be on technique, game rules and just having fun!  Students will be broken up into age appropriate groups and work with multiple coaches to improve abilities! Please come in appropriate gym attire and sneakers. 




Cheer 2: Beginner and Intermediate Level

Cheer camp is a chance for your child to have fun and learn the basics of cheering. We will work on introductory skills and a short routine during this week. Participants will learn several cheers, motions, jumps, and basic cheer choreography as well as team building activities and games. All of these skills will be put together into a routine for family and friends on the last day of camp.  Students will be broken up into age appropriate groups and work with multiple coaches to improve abilities! Please come in appropriate gym attire and sneakers. 


Cooking: Iron Chef

Half Day  $110

Fun filled, fast paced camp designed to build independence in the kitchen. Campers will learn how to make some basic snacks and meals. Campers will also learn the basics of kitchen safety, sanitation and measuring kitchen ingredients. Campers will create at least one main dish and dessert to present to the judge showcasing the daily plating technique, flavor profile or ingredients. Judges will grade on eye appeal, uniqueness, aroma, color, texture, taste, temperature, degree of difficulty and overall presentation. The judges love creativity! 



Art 3: Painting, Drawing and Mixed Media

Campers attending the 3-D Arts Camp will gain experience creating 3 Dimensional art pieces by utilizing common, recyclable materials in a fun and expressive way. Projects will include models, sculpture, textures, layering to create depth, and design!


Week 4:  July 22nd-July 25th

Art Camp 4: The Art Factory

Half Day  $100

Think BIG, small, fluttery, scaly, cosmic, nocturnal, and bright!  As artists, we are often so inspired by our surroundings- the colors, textures, sounds, and patterns we find in nature.  In art camp this week we will stay attentive to the mysterious and marvelous universe we live in both on Earth and in Space!  We'll take our imaginations on a walk through the woods, a dive in the ocean, a journey into caves and crevices, and a quick blast off into space. We will be creating constellations, creatures, botanical prints, landscapes, and sculptures with watercolor, acrylic paint, collage, plaster and printmaking materials. 


Drama 2: "Strega Nona"

Full Day $200

8:00 am-2:00 pm| Incoming Grades 3-8

Students will have the opportunity to develop acting skills and work together to create a performance as we transform the folk tale of “Strega Nona” into a performance. This is a great opportunity to try something new! Family and Friends are welcome to come to our performance on the last day of camp.
