A: Winter Carnival is a week of events and activities that takes place each year during the week before Winter Break (2/17 - 2/21). Grades compete against each other all week and a champion will be crowned at the end of Friday's Pep Rally.
Q: How do I get involved in Winter Carnival?
A: The easiest way to get involved is to come to Commons Decorating after school. Class officers and elected and honorary Senate members have been planning for this for weeks (so there's plenty to help with!) This is the single biggest Point-earning activity so please join in!
Q: How else can I get Winter Carnival Points for my class?
A: There are a bunch of ways: (1) Dress up with the theme each day and check in at lunch a your grade's table. (2) Participate in the Activity Period Eventsduring the Activity Block on Tuesday and Wednesday. (3) Participate in or attend an After School Event. (4) The most points will be awarded at the Pep Rally...sign-ups for those events begin on Monday 2/17. (5) Follow us on our social media handles (see Home page) for bonus point contests throughout the week!
Be sure to check in on the Official Winter Carnival Scoreboard as well!
Q: Where do I check in to get points for dressing up?
A: Check in for dress up days will take place during lunches. Each grade will have a table and you check in with your class officers/senators.
SENIORS! Your table will be in the main foyer, so if you leave for lunch be sure to check in first!
Q: How do I sign up for events?
A: All sign ups are done using this site and Google Forms (coming Wednesday 2/12). Pep Rally event sign-ups will start Monday 2/17
Q: How do I get involved in the planning?
A: To get involved all you have to do is come to a Senate meeting! If you can't make a meeting, but have a great idea you want to share, email a Senator, Class Officer, or Mr. Provost!
