About Us

Pippi McNally, Guidance Counselor

Hello everyone! Thanks for letting me work with your awesome kiddos here at Swasey! I graduated from Bates College in 2003 and started my mental health work as a teacher and case manager at the New England Center for Children in Southboro, MA; a private residential school for kids with Autism as well as significant behavioral challenges. After that I decided to become a guidance counselor and while I got my Master's degree from UNH, I worked in the Rye elementary and middle schools as a paraprofessional. I worked as a teacher and intern at Seacoast Learning Collaborative before becoming a guidance counselor in Rochester. I have also worked as a private tutor for outplacement students with behavioral challenges and as a social worker.

Outside of school, I love to hike, go camping, snowboard, snowshoe, bake muffins, and be adventurous with my two girls and my husband, my dog, Rally, and bunny, Batman.

Jocelyn Shelby, School Psychologist/LEA

Hi all! I am the School Psychologist & LEA of the Special Education Team at Swasey Central School. I received my MS & CAGS degrees in school psychology from Northeastern University in Boston and became a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) in 2015.

I have worked at the elementary, middle & high school levels. This will be my 5th year here at Swasey!

Outside of school, I love to spend time with my growing family. We have a 2.5 year old son & another son on the way! You can usually find us on the beach, in the mountains, or traveling.
