This is a link to the book, Teach Your Child To Read In 100 Easy Lessons by Siegfried Englemann. The book can be ordered on amazon. This is a step-by-step guide for parents to use with their children for just 15-20 minutes per day to build reading skills. Recommended for grades k-2.
Get outside and explore nature! Collect materials and build your own fairy house structure. Draw a picture of it and write about it. Who will live in your fairy house?
Find objects in nature and start counting! Make your own addition and subtraction problems with nature and record your math facts as you go. An example: 6 acorns + 7 pine cones = 13.
Go outside and find some pine cones. Use a butter knife to spread peanut butter on the pine cones. Roll the pine cones in birdseed. Attach a string and hang on a nail or branch. Start bird watching!
These are some of the common birds you might see. Spend time outside observing nature - watch and listen for birds. You can make a bird watching notebook. When you see and identify a bird, take or draw a picture. Make notes (date and time, weather, bird behavior) about your observations.
Print out some of the lined paper and practice handwriting for a few minutes per day with this packet. Keep it fun=short and sweet:).
