Orchestra
Orchestra prepares music for string orchestra and full orchestra. The orchestra is open to students who play violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Winds, brass, and percussion are drawn from the EHS Band when full orchestra works are prepared. Students will study ensemble performance with emphasis on technical skills, music reading with regard to melody, rhythm, dynamics, tempo, and interpretation. The orchestra performs at all school concerts, and students are expected to participate in all performances.
