Meet the Teachers

I live in Sandown with my husband and son (and 3 cats).  You probably know me best as a kindergarten teacher, but I have taught preschool through 1st grade, and completed long term sub positions in third and fourth grades.  I was also the RTI Coordinator, and taught reading in K-5 at Swasey.  I am THRILLED to be teaching second grade again this year, and can't wait to see many of my former students!  I enjoy reading, cooking, going to the beach, music, and Red Wings hockey, but my real passion is teaching.  E-mail me any time at smayo@sau16.org , follow us on Twitter/X@MayoClassSCS, or call 642-3487.  Ms. MacDuffie can transfer you to room 19.  Enjoy the rest of your summer, and get ready for our second grade adventure!
