We look forward to continuing to build upon the successful basketball programs at all levels – Reserve/Freshmen, JV and Varsity. It is important for you to understand that playing basketball here at Exeter High School is a privilege that takes pride and commitment. We want dedicated athletes who are focused on making the right decisions, teamwork, ongoing improvement and results.
PRIOR to Tryouts
What you should be completing before tryouts.
1. You are REQUIRED to have a physical on record at the Athletic Office.
2. You are REQUIRED to be academically eligible. Pass 4 classes from the first quarter.
3. You are REQUIRED be registered for EHS basketball, signup prior to TBD online at:

Please Note: You are not eligible to tryout if you have not completed 1, 2 and 3.
Tryouts are important. You must be present. There are no guaranteed spots. You must earn them throughout the tryout process.
All grades tryout all three days.

Sneakers
Water Bottle
Dark/Light Reversible OR a Dark T-Shirt and a White T-Shirt.
Meet in hallway outside of gym.
Monday, 11/30 - Day 1
Start Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Arrive 5:45pm and be ready to warm up at 6pm.
Tuesday, 12/1 - Day 2
Start Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm
Arrive 5:45pm and be ready to warm up at 6pm
Wednesday, 12/2 - Day 3
Start Time: 6:00pm-7:45pm
Arrive 5:45pm and be ready to warm up at 6pm.

Varsity Team will meet at 7:45pm for a Team Meeting.

When registering for basketball with the opportunity to tryout out for a team, students are held to the Exeter High School Athletic Code of Conduct which outlines the privilege of representing Exeter High School on an athletic team carries certain responsibilities to be fulfilled by each team member. Meeting these guidelines, both as players and families will contribute to the successful functioning of the team. As discussed in the student informational meeting on Thursday, 11/12, tryouts are important and mandatory. You must be present to be considered for a team. There are no guaranteed spots. You must earn them throughout the tryout process. If you are unable to attend tryouts for medical restrictions or another commitment that cannot be rescheduled, you must contact the head varsity coach prior to the start of the tryout process.
