Early Sculptures

Early Sculptures from the 1960s were called soft sculptures. Large scale everyday objects that people would have a close association with such as food items, light switch, sewing machine, tube of toothpaste etc. Materials included paper, vinyl, rags, foam, rubber, stuffed cloth, plaster covered chicken wire, cardboard (whatever he could get his hands on). These were displayed primarily in galleries and in private homes.
