The Band Program at Exeter High School
There are three band classes at EHS: 1) Concert Band, 2) Symphonic Band, and 2) Percussion Ensemble. The Concert Band is for Wind and Brass players in grades 9 and 10, the Symphonic Band is for Wind and Brass players in grades 11 and 12, and the Percussion Ensemble is for Percussionists in grades 9-12. All three classes make up the EHS Blue Hawk Marching Band, performing at all regular season home football games, home and away playoff and championship football games, and the Exeter Halloween, Holiday, and Memorial Day parades. Each class also performs at the Holiday, Spring, and Pops Concerts. Band begins each year with a Band Camp in August before the school year begins.
