Q: How do I get tickets?
A: Tickets will be sold during lunch the week of April 10th. If you miss prom ticket sales please contact Ms. Morse in H201 or by email LMorse@sau16.org.
Q: Can I have a date from another school?
A: Yes. You will have to fill outa prom guest form. They will need a photo ID to enter the prom.
Q: How much do tickets cost?
A: $40.00 each. You can pay by check made out to EHS Class of 2024 or cash.
Q: Will there be food provided?
A: Yes. There will be food provided by Las Olas and Nadeaus Subs. IF you have allergies or dietary concerns there will be options that are vegan, and gluten free. Any food with nuts will be labeled. Please use caution and check the food you choose if you have an allergy.
Q: Can I bring a date who is an EHS student who is not a junior?
A: Yes. You need to buy their ticket when you purchase yours. Guests may not be in middle school, and cannot be older than 20 years old on prom night. Both of you need your EHS/picture IDs to check in to the prom.
Q: Where will the prom take place?
A: See the schedule page. But in short, the grand march will be in the auditorium. Dancing will be in the cafe and there will be food in the courtyard.
Q: Can I participate in the grand march with my friends if I don't have a date?
A: Absolutely! You can march in groups of 1-3.
Q: Who can march in the grand march?
A: All prom-goers.
Q: Who can view the grand march?
A: Anyone. The doors will open at 5:30. Audience members should enter through the side door by the library.
Q: What kind of shoes should I wear?
A: Anything you feel like. You can choose to participate in the grand march in one pair of shoes, check your other shoes when you arrive and you will have access to them after the grand march.
Q: What if I don't want to be in the grand march?
A: If you would like to go to prom, but not participate in the grand march, that is totally okay. You should arrive between 6:00 and 7:00 and check in in athletics. Let them know you are not marching and you can go into the prom after the grand march is underway. You will still need your EHS/picture ID.
Q: Can I change clothes at the prom?
A: Yes. The bathrooms are available for this purpose. You can check the clothes you are going to change into when you arrive and you will have access to them after the grand march.
Q: Can I leave and come back?
A: No. Once you leave the prom you cannot come back.
Q. Do I need a school ID for this event?
A: No, but you do need a photo ID.
Q: What if I cannot afford the cost of a ticket?
A: If the cost of tickets is a barrier to you attending prom, please contact Ms. Morse (LMorse@sau16.org) or an adult you are comfortable talking to about this at EHS and have them reach out to Ms. Morse on your behalf.
