Third Grade Supply List

2019-2020

Dear Parents and Students,

Many people ask what supplies are needed for the beginning of school.

All basic school supplies are provided here at AVS. This includes crayons, scissors, markers, glue and pencils, etc. However, many parents and children enjoy shopping for some supplies of their own. If this is something you would like to do, here are some suggestions.

• Reusable water bottle clearly labeled with student’s name
• Soft zip pencil pouches work well to keep things organized. Please, no large pencil boxes.
• Colored pencils
• Small pack of crayons
• 2 large size glue sticks
• Erasers- large and pencil top
• One pack of #2 pencils (Ticonderoga pencils are great! )
• 1 set of ear buds or headphones for use with computers. For sanitary reasons we would like each student to have their own set. Please label with child’s name.
• Hand held pencil sharpener (with a top to collect the shavings)
• Ruler - with both inches and centimeters!!

• markers
• one 3-ring binder (1 inch)
• single subject spiral notebooks (3 total; each a different color)
