Important Information for Parents
Learning a second language takes time and significant effort on the part of the learner.
Learning a second language is hard work.
It can take 6-9 years for a student to master academic English!
Every year in February students are required to take the ACCESS test for ELLs.
To be placed on "Monitored Status", students must receive a score of at least a 4.0 in each Language Domain and a 4.5 overall score
Scores and letters will be sent home at the end of every school year.
