In this chapter, students will subtract to 10,000 with and without regrouping. Be sure your child is practicing their subtraction facts often!

Big Idea: Greater numbers can be subtracted with or without regrouping.

*Students learned the part-whole concept, and the addition and subtraction of numbers up to 1,000. This concept is now extended to subtract 4-digit numbers with or without regrouping up to 10,000.
