Avoid Plagiarism
You own the rights to what you create.
Plagiarism is the act of presenting other peoples' words, ideas, images, sounds and other expressions as your own, AND, not giving credit to your sources.
Writing a paper, doing a project?
If you have cut, copied and pasted, copied text and changed a few words, not shared all your original resources, or had help you wouldn't want your teacher to know about, you probably have plagiarized!
Ooops. Plagiarism can get you a failing grade and parent and administrative involvement. So when in doubt, ask for help...
read source, look away, then write your notes
take notes using your own words
don't take notes in full sentences
and...
Cite ALL sources (this includes images, sound, video and text) you used for your project in a bibliography.
This includes AI as a source !
Google and other search engines, are not a source.
