NOTES
Students seeking attendance consideration in lieu of participation in any University-organized or related event are mandatorily required to submit written proof of participation. This proof must include the signature(s) of the faculty member(s) associated with the event. Such documentation must be submitted on or before the 15th of every month for the attendance records to be updated accordingly. No requests submitted after the deadline will be accepted under any circumstances.
Students are also strongly advised to inform their course instructors in advance, wherever possible, about any absence due to participation in such events or other reasons known beforehand. Merely informing the instructor however, does not guarantee grant of attendance.
In cases of absence from theory or laboratory classes due to medical reasons, the policy prescribed by the Department Office shall be strictly followed. Under no circumstances should instructors be approached directly for attendance based on medical documentation.
