The course introduces historical and cultural development of Buddhism as a whole in Asia. Various tangible and intangible cultural aspects like Architecture, Philosophy, Social life, Archaeology, etc helps one to understand the evolution of this religio-philosophical system.
Course objective:
To introduce participants to the various aspects of Buddhist Art and Archaeology
To understand the evolution of Buddhist Art
To study the development of Buddhism in India as well as across various countries
Know your roots. This course will introduce various facets of Buddhist Culture. This will be good addition to the knowledge for those who are preparing for the various competitive examinations and have taken up studies in International Relations.

Learning Outcome:
On successful completion of this course , participants will know about various facets of Buddhist Art and Archaeology.
Course Duration : 5 Months and 2 hours per week of teaching.
Course Fee: Rs. 1500/- (One thousand five hundred only)- for Sathaye college students
Rs. 3000/- (three thousand only)- for other participants
