Synthesis and modification of task-specific ionic liquids described as Deep Eutectic solvents (DES) are accomplished. These designer solvents need to be evaluated for their physicochemical properties before application. Thermophysical properties like Density, Viscosity, speed of sound, Refractive index and heat capacity at different temperatures and pressure are investigated to determine their extraction ability.
