Senior Charlie White is a 2025 nominee for the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Team for the state of Wisconsin.

This esteemed recognition is bestowed upon student-athletes who demonstrate excellence not only on the football field, but also in the classroom and through their leadership within the school and community.

Charlie White exemplifies these qualities across all facets of his high school tenure. A distinguished member of the Redwings football program and a contributor to track and field, he has also made a notable impact in the arts, serving as the senior drum major and lead trombone player in the school’s jazz ensemble.

Reflecting upon his senior season, Charlie attributes a significant portion of his development to the trust cultivated within his team: "The most important lesson I have acquired is the necessity of placing confidence in one's team. Amidst both success and adversity, I maintained a conviction that my teammates were diligently committing themselves to improvement—often in ways that are not quantifiable in a box score.”

This philosophy has been instrumental in defining his leadership and competitive approach.

Charlie also strongly encourages younger students to fully embrace commitment in all their endeavors: "Irrespective of the pursuit, dedicating one's utmost effort will yield positive results. This dedication garners respect and can facilitate opportunities previously beyond imagination.”

Academically, Charlie White has demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, maintaining an unweighted GPA of 4.0 and a weighted GPA of 5.426 across seven semesters. Charlie is also a member of the WFCA All-State Academic Team 2025. 

Following graduation, Charlie is slated to attend the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he intends to pursue studies in sports journalism.
