Meet information will be posted as soon as we receive it!
I have been running for over 47 years, and throughout that time, running has become a lifelong passion and an important part of who I am. Over the years, I have logged more than 80,000 miles and have had the opportunity to compete at many different levels.
I graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1985. During my high school career, I finished sixth at the WIAA State Championships in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 9:25. I continued my running career at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, where I became a three-time All-American and was a member of two NCAA Division III National Championship cross country teams.
I have also competed in 23 marathons, winning five of them. My personal-best marathon time is 2:22:34. While I am proud of the accomplishments I have achieved as a runner, I have found just as much enjoyment in sharing my love of the sport with others and helping young athletes discover what they are capable of accomplishing.
I am married to my wife, Kristen, and together we have five children, all of whom are active runners. We are also proud grandparents of four grandchildren. Running has truly become a family tradition, and I am grateful to have spent so much of my life surrounded by the sport and the people who make it special.
