Daebeom Choi

Hello! I am Daebeom Choi, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, under the supervision of Angela Gibney and Florian Pop. I received my B.S. degree in Mathematical Science from KAIST.

I am on the academic job market for 2026-2027.

I have been supported by the Simons Dissertation Fellowship and KFAS overseas PhD Scholarship.

My research interests include: Moduli of curves and birational geometry; conformal blocks and mathematical physics; anabelian arithmetic geometry.
