My goal was to analyze and study the motion of a hula hoop when thrown with a backspin. I was most interested in the physics behind the hula hoop. When given enough backspin, the hula hoop rolls back to the person who throws it. However, there is also the scenario that while the hula hoop starts with some backspin, it actually ends up spinning forward, something that is modeled in my code later.
