Courage Compassion Creativity
We hope you all had a restful and enjoyable half-term break.
It’s been a wonderful start to the new half term, with the children settling back into routines beautifully and engaging enthusiastically with their new units of work. We know how busy this half term can be, so it’s been especially lovely to begin with such a calm and focused atmosphere across the school.
As we look ahead, the diary is beginning to fill with the many exciting events that November and December bring. Next week, we begin with our Remembrance Service led by Reverend Sarah on Monday. On Tuesday, our eldest children will represent the school at the village memorial service. We’ll then round off the week with our Children in Need day on Friday 14th November.
As is tradition at Sarratt School, we invite all children and staff to come to school in non-uniform, wearing something spotty to mark the occasion. Donations can be made directly to the charity via the BBC Children in Need website.
Please see the diary below for a full list of upcoming events—we have lots to look forward to as we head into the festive season.
Warmest regards,
Nicola O'Hare
Head Teacher
