Thereβs a buzz of excitement in Early Years this week as we prepare for our big move into new surroundings for the academic year. Starting Monday, Sarratt Ducklings and our Reception class will be settling into a beautiful temporary unit located on the school field. This marks the beginning of the demolition and rebuilding of our current site, with completion scheduled for June.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Elliot and all the amazing volunteers whoβve been helping with the move this week! We even had some pint-sized removal experts lending a handβitβs truly been all hands on deck!
Meanwhile, things have been a little quieter in the main building today, as our Year 5 children, along with Mr. Williams, Mrs. Goldspring, and Mrs. Serby, are enjoying a mini residential visit at Yorke House School. The trip began yesterday evening with fun activities and a camp-out, and today the children are diving into a range of outdoor and adventurous experiencesβwith a touch of animal care thrown in too!
This visit offers a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to get a taste of being away from home, helping them prepare for the Year 6 residential at Skern Lodge in Devon.
We canβt wait to hear all about their adventures on Monday! In the meantime, wishing everyone a wonderful weekendΒ
Warmest regards,Β
Nicola O'HareΒ
