Dear Families,

Welcome back – we hope you had a wonderful Easter break.

As many of you know, next week we will be waving a fond farewell to Mrs O’Brien, who will be leaving our team after a fabulous eight years of service. Mrs O’Brien is embarking on a new adventure, and while we are excited for her, she will be very much missed. Her calm and positive presence in the office, her kindness and support, and her unwavering dedication to our school community have meant so much to us all.

Mrs O’Brien’s final day in school will be next Wednesday, and I am sure you will all join us in making her day extra special.

We will miss you, Mrs O’Brien, and wish you every success in the next chapter.

Starting the new term with a spring in our step!

KS1 have made a fabulous start to the new term, returning with real enthusiasm for learning and a sense of curiosity.

Year 1 launched their new science topic with a hands-on vegetable-growing lesson. They will be carefully monitoring and observing the changes over the course of the term.

Year 2 have thoroughly impressed Mrs Pinner with their maths work. They have dived straight into this term’s fractions topic and are already confidently mastering the concept of a half, even suggesting their own equivalent fractions!
