As part of the Mission Developer role I lead:
SAO's SmallSat program
Since founding the SmallSat program in 2019 we have developed and proposed 4 missions to NASA and assisted on the development of an number of others.
I am currently leading an initiative that radically reduces the price of future science missions by standardizing all aspects of the mission that can be, limiting the custom design effort to a minimum. This a joint effort of my role as SmallSat lead and Internal Innovation Lead
SAO's Internal Innovation Program
I developed a successful Pitchfest program. This is an open forum at which members of the community can pitch ideas to the Innovation Group. We have received many ideas from the SAO and CfA community. Those can be viewed here.
I am currently leading the development high resolution (<1 arcsec) X-ray optics to form the basis of the next generation of spacebased X-ray observatories.
Proposal Efforts
I led the engineering effort on the ECCCO Program (received no major weakness)
Led the SAO effort on the MUSE mission. We won a subcontract and completed the construction of the MUSE Context Imager.
I led the engineering effort on four Step 1 proposals and one Step 2 proposal for Arcus
Led SAO engineering effort on various winning Balloon based, airplane based, and rocket instruments proposals.

Miscellanea:
I spent 2 weeks at the South Pole in 1997 doing modifications on an existing radio telescope. While I was there I took some photos and wrote a blog. I did this, for the most part, to keep my family informed as to what was going on. The blog can be seen here; the photos are linked in the blog.
