 My Weirdly Scary Neighbor (By Seraphina)

One day Emma was eating breakfast when her Mum told her something ‘ Emma someone moved in Next door lets say hi’

Emma looked like she was choking ‘ what!?’ shouted Emma shocked,

No one has moved into that house. It looks like it was in a fire. `I have made a fruit basket go say hi and give it to him’’ said Mum.

“No, I don't want to!’ yelled Emma  ‘’Emma you better get over and say hi or else!” Shouted Mum angry.   “Ok Mum’, replied Emma speechless. 

It was 4:30 when Emma weirdly ran out of the house yelling and not caring that everyone in the neighbourhood could hear her‘ I forgot to  give the fruit basket oh no!’ yelled Emma, still not noticing everyone could hear her. 

Emma knocked on the door harshly *knock knock!’  An old man opened the door and shouted, ‘Get out of here!!’ Suddenly Emma dropped the fruit basket screaming and running back to her house, again not caring that everyone could still hear her.

All the neighbours were really annoyed with her. ‘What happened?!’ yelled mum worryingly. Emma was speechless as she slowly walked into the house and into her bedroom.

The next morning Emma went to play with her friends Katie and Rose.

Emma told them all about what happened yesterday with the neighbour.

‘Really?’ Katie said surprised. “Yes i know it's confusing’ replied Emma

“Very!'' yelled Rose. “Emma lets do a prank on your neighbour”, whispered Katie quietly rubbing her hands together. ‘Yes!’ shouted Rose. Emma looked worried “I don't think -’ but before Emma could stop them Katie and Rose had already ran Back to Emma’s House. When Emma arrived back, Katie and Rose were looking at the house Emma had told them ‘woah!’ shouted Rose “Shhhh! Whispered Katie after Emma Katie and Rose walked in slowly Emma didn’t know what to do. 

Katie and Rose started playing on the grass silently Emma Kept telling them to come back suddenly Katie started to shout “Let's play Rose!’ Shouted Katie purposely then the door slammed open “ GET OFF MY LAWN!!!’ yelled the neighbour, Katie and Rose ran back to Emma’s house.

At Emma’s House, “I told you!’ Yelled Emma Katie and Rose were speechless  “yeah you were right sorry Emma’ said Katie Emma smiled softly  ‘ it's ok but  don't ever in a billion years do that again though!’ shouted Emma laughing after Rose and Katie left.

“Emma!'' shouted Emma’s sister Amelia “what?’ Asked Emma 

“Mum said she invited the new neighbor over she said start cleaning”

Said Amelia “Noooooooooooo!’ Emma shouted and quickly ran out of the house. Poor Emma, The end!

Random Bear on the street (By Alyx)

I was walking home like usual, it has been a long day of school, don't get me wrong it was a fun day with so much drama happening like for example, one of the teachers got punched by a student! Not like that's good but it was so cool to be taught by a student since that teacher was in sick bay. It was going to drizzle soon so  was running really fast I also needed to get to the shops to get a teddy bear because for some reason in science we got to blow up teddy bears, so i was running quite fast, I heard my phone ring just before i got to the shops at this point I was panting, huffing and puffing but i made it to the shops so it's all good. I run under the roof of the store and pick up my ringing phone and answer “Hello?” I said “Hi there hun’ it was my mum

“Hi mum”

“Hey so it's going to be raining in around 20 minutes”

“Oh ...”like i didn't know...thanks mum.

“So please hurry up,i don't think i packed you an umbrella so if it does start raining 

text your sister she will pick you up”

“Alright mum thanks”again i already knew that it was going to rain and my sister definitely won't pick me up

“Bye hunny”

“BYEEE”

I hanged up the phone and just like that i walked into the store and just as i started walking in and found a teddy bear shop, I looked around for a cheap one since we're going to blow them up, but all of them were over 10 dollars, but i realised that my sister has a lot of teddys and she wouldn't mind me taking one because she was already going to burn them...well that's what she said she was going to do.I walked quite fast out of the store to try and make it before the rain,i have made it out out of the shop and into the streets when I saw my godmother on a bench”HI MRS TEMEA”i quickly said just passing her “Hello there Nila'' she said back just before getting up,that was Lecki Temea she was my godmother y’know the person that is with your mum at birth,i first saw her when i was 3 and that first time i met her, but for some reason when i saw her, i tried biting her kneecap,arms,cheek,fingers and i tried to eat her wedding ring.

Never mind that while I was running I was looking at the trees when I saw something brown, poop? Small dog? A baby? No it's none of those, it's a bear…a TEDDY BEAR! I took a pit stop to look at it, i didn't take it immediately because maybe it was a child's bear..or an adult i doubt it but okay, it was in front of Mrs and Mr Kopi’s house the parents of my best friend Lucas but i’ve known him for like 6 years so I know he doesn't really like bears or owns them,i looked a bit closely to the bear to see “take it for free” written on it, i picked it up and realised it started raining “shoot” i mumbled.

I got home, unpacked my bag and put the teddy on my desk.

It was night and i just ate dinner so i was bored out of my mind so i was just staring at that bear when i noticed something,a red flashing light in the eye, i looked closer to see a camera?and no i didn't start panicking cause i knew this is going to be cool. A million ideas came into my mind. What if we watch the teddy blow up from the perspective of the teddy bear…

It was Thursday at Emery's house,when there was a problem. “Alice , what's wrong?’ asked Emery, “I left my books at school, the teacher will be so mad!' said Alice looking down, Emery and Lily felt bad  “how about we go get it back!’ said Lilly Alice and Emery were confused  “how?’ asked Alice  “we could sneak back at school and get the books” replied Lilly back “but we cant!’ shouted Emery  “well will it work?’ Alice asked Lilly, Emery rolled her eyes. She knew something was going to happen but she didn't know it was going to be against the rules! “No way!’ yelled Emery “ come on Emery do it for Alice” said Lilly  “Pleassssse!’ pleaded Alice,  after 10 mins of convincing Emery finally Emery agreed to go so they got ready.

Before they were about to leave the house Emerys little brother Leon came “where are you going Emery?’ asked Leon “well, were going to school to get something’ said Emery Alice and Lilly looked worried 

“Why don't you go play now’ said Alice  Lilly looked at her Alice looked at Emery whispering “let's make a run for it” “you can't go mum said you have to look after me’ replied Leon “ oh yeah i totally forgot!’ shouted Emery worried “how about we take him with us?’ asked Lilly “ please Emery i will be good!” yelled Leon “ but you even know what’s going on!” said Emery “who cares come one Emery please let him come!” “ugh fine’ shouted Emery very annoyed 

So Leon tagged along very confused on what's happening so  Lilly and Alice explained ' really, you're allowed to do that?’ asked Leon 'our teacher said we can’ said Lilly 'no she didn't she said we could on Thursdays when she's here after school!’  yelled Emery back crossing her arms “okay fine she did say that’ admitted Lilly “but it will be quick like a stick!” “But sticks can't move if they do, they probably are slow?’ said Alice

“So we don’t move’ Asked Leon, very confused more than usual “no i meant… forget about it” sighed Lilly. ``Were here” shouted Alice “ now where did you say you put the books?’ “over there!’ pointed Alive to the benches, it was getting dark and scary so they quickly got the books and ran when… they heard a scream luckily Alive bring a torch with her “there's nothing there?’ said Alice then they suddenly heard footsteps. Leon started to scream in horror 'it's okay Leon everything will be fine now lets go’ Emery said, hugging Leon tight, 'where ya going?’ someone started to say “quick in here!” someone else said so we followed and they ended up in a small place in the library they tried taking a closer look at the person it was James?! 

One of their classmates except Leon “James!? what's going on and why are you here?’  Emery whispered to James extremely confused and frightened “no, what are you doing here at night?!’ James said quietly shouting “just tell us what's going on!” said Lilly “okay, well the school has a history were 6 kids were here then they disappeared so now their souls  haunt the school, so i have to protect everyone that's why the teachers let me sleep in class and they only come on Thursdays and Monday nights” explained James  Leon started to cry hugging on to Emery tight “so what were those ghosts or?’ asked Alice “they were Lost “Spirits” dead ones but we will be fine nothing to worry about it is easy to calm them so they will feel comfortable around you and some will start to talk to you all you have to do is something they've never seen before and  if they like it they won't trouble you, so you will split up with a partner of course i will go with Emery and Leon cause they will need help and i will give you this so we can talk and see what you are doing” explained James out of breath and giving them the 2 bracelets. 

“Okay well here how it goes some spirit will come to you and tell you their name’ James is still explaining “and you will introduce yourself and you do some tricks and maybe they will like it ''wait they have names?’ Asked Emery “yes they do what do you think we call them just spirits no!”  laughed James “never say that directly to them they get angry ''okay’ they all said  “okay well that means lilly and Alice will go together” said James “bye” they all said. With Alice and Lilly  “lilly i hear something” whispered Alice ‘what?’ asked Lilly  “i found my one” said Alice “my what?” asked Lilly  “ my s p i r i t!’ said Alice quietly “ohh cool i’ll keep walking” said Lilly, “hi i’m Esta’ said the spirit ‘hi my name is Alice!’ said Alice smiling starting to feel safe “what will you do for me im kinda a soft person so impress me” said Esta (the spirit) Alice started to do tricks like dancing cartwheel or handstand still the spirit wasn’t impressed  so Alice started to sing let it go “let it goooo!’ sang Alice giggling, the spirit broke down laughing “hahahahaha! you're funny, let's be friends!” said Esta “okay!’ yelled Alice smiling. With Lilly “umm hello?’ wondered Lilly finally someone came up to her “hi! I'm Crytstella with a silent t!” shouted the spirit “hi i’m Lilly’ said Lilly “so impress me!’ said  Crytstella with a silent t so Lilly started to whistle sing that didn’t impress her so Lilly started to dance. 

'`Ooooooh i like dancing, you can go bye see ya later!’ said Crytstella with a t. With Emery “they are not saying anything they probably forget to put it on” said James “ i can hear something” said Leon “oh! Goody you found your one!’ shouted James  “hello my name is Emma! I'm probably the same age as you!’ said the spirit “hi, im Leon!’ Loen answered back “Emery you go find your s.p.i.r.i.t i will look after Leon’ requested James “ok thanks!’ said Emery Crystella (spirit) glared at James “would you like a lolly?” asked Leon,Leon had been secretly hiding lollies in his pockets  “what is lollie?’ asked Crystella after all the spirits had been long gone for years probably before candy was invented, Leon gasped so did james after all they were kids

“Uhh, well they are treats here you chew them’ said Leon giving a lolly to Crystal (the spirits are kinda like ghosts you can see them). “woah this is good. I like it' Crstal said 

 I will let you go but’ said Crystal James looked worried “you have to give me 1 more!’ continued Crystal Leon felt relieved “okay here” said Leon this time giving her a lollipop so it will last longer the spirit giggled “bye for now!” said crystal but before Leon could say bye Crystal disappeared, with Emery “hi I'm Keith! What will you do for me?’ suddenly a spirit said “oh um, hi I'm Emery’ said Emery startled, so Emery started to dance but Keith didn’t like it so she started to do a handstand and Keith liked it “oooh cool bye have a nice day!’ said Keith quickly. So Emery James and Leon found each other and tried to find Lilly and Alice, they met them at the drink taps “there they are!’ said Emery pointing at the drink taps “oh! Hi guys” shouted Lilly “so how did it go?’ asked James “it was okay!’ said Alice “I have a question, why did the spirits want to leave so fast?’  asked Lilly “well they probably are having the meeting with the royal spirits, anyways bye guys!’ said James rushing to the gates “ bye?!’ yelled Emery so they all walked home “what did James mean by royal spirits? And why was he in a rush to leave?’ asked Leon “hmm? Wow, we should ask him that at school!’ said Emery holding Leon’s hand  “we can’t tomorrows a public holiday it’s Thursday remember?’ said Alice  “oh well’ sighed Emery so they all went home and since it was late Emery and Leon’s Mum said they could have a sleepover but one question remained what did James mean by “Royal Spirits?". The End!
