"Media arts involves creating representations of the world and telling stories through communications technologies such as television, film, video, newspapers, radio, video games, the internet and mobile media.
In Week One of Term Four the year 5/6 students learnt how to create an animation using Google Slides.
They all had a lot of fun creating their animations and telling different stories.

In Week Two of Term Four the Year 5/6 students learnt how to add sound to their Google Slide Animations.
Students were able to add background music, sound effect and voice overs to tell their stories.

In Week Three of Term Four the Year 5/6 students learnt how to make a Stop Motion Animation.
Students used 3D objects from around their house, they took photos and made small movements between each photo to create movement from still photos.

In Week Six of Term Four the Year 5/6 students learnt how to make their own movie trailers.
Students used iMovie to make a trailer for a made up movie. Students learnt about techniques such as close up's and zoom to make an interesting movie trailer.
