A step towards personalized learning and entrepreneurship in STEAM projects
A step towards personalized learning and entrepreneurship in STEAM projects (PL&ES) is a teacher mobility project where
training courses and observational learning will be carried out where teachers will acquire new strategies for project-based
learning and entrepreneurship in STEAM projects. Thus promoting the personalization of learning, work by competencies,
and the empowerment of the talent of the students. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are going to be the
backbone of the project since it is our obligation as teachers to contribute to improving society. Thanks to exposing and
working with our educational community, the UNESCO 2030 agenda is our way of accompanying students in their role as
change-maker agents. The training of teachers in this field will help us to implement organizational and methodological
changes, new teaching roles, and an innovative look at education.
The objectives that we are going to achieve in this project are:
1- Promote cooperative work and projects and personalize the learning paths of students.
2- Develop STEAM projects with excellence.
3-To promote the vocations and talents of the students.
4- Promote creativity and critical and entrepreneurial spirit.
5- Develop skills assessment strategies.
Results
The results are:
To increase cooperative work and projects until reaching 50% of school hours.
Carrying out STEAM projects in an excellent way is complex, until now we are encountering difficulties at the organizational level and we are sure that this training can give us a broader vision of how to carry them out.
At the end of the project, we would like to be able to have samples of good practices in STEAM in each of the educational stages: 1 in infants, 3 in primary, and 2 in secondary. These projects must be related to the interests of the students, accompanying them in the roles they acquire in them according to their talents and potential.
The projects that we want to improve and expand are those related to the SDGs and caring for the environment from a critical perspective and with entrepreneurial solutions.
We will carry out activities where students can be the center of their own competency assessment to grow and evolve in their development.
